Everyone who has moved house knows that feeling when you move into a home that has less than optimal lighting. Be it a beautiful Victorian home or your first college apartment.
Lighting can be a tricky issue, particularly if you want to be able to make your home suit your families moods. Do you want to light a room for romance or relaxation? What if you want to be energized by your surroundings? You don′t have to cut windows out of your walls for ″natural″ lighting; all you have to do is have an understanding of how lamps and light sources can affect the brain.
Whenever you choose light sources for a room, you need to consider the purpose of the lamp, the size of the room, the mood you want to set and the look you want to create.
Balcan Lighting is an independent family-owned business. We operate from our sales/warehouse in Horncastle, Lincolnshire. We stock thousands of different lamps and tubes offering offer our customers the best choice of brands from across the marketplace. All our lamps come from major manufacturers such as TUNGSRAM, PHILIPS, LEDVANCE, SYLVANIA, GIRARD SUDRON and SORAA.
In addition to more widely used lighting solutions and requirements, combine this with the best in customer service and unmatched stock and delivery systems. We believe in planning and investing for the long term and as such we have navigated very carefully through these turbulent times as our industry has raced into LED and as EU Legislation continues to dominate our every move. We continue to invest in stocking our major brands to ensure that we have what you need when you need it, where you need it.
