Girard Sudron

Light is our world

Stocked since 2014, Balcan believe in the high quality products that Girard Sudron have to offer – after all, they’ve been perfecting their craft since 1894. Their passionate team have strived to combine the latest LED technology and both decorative and functional means in their lighting and accessories. Their main stock consist of LED, incandescent and halogen bulbs with filament, standard and spotlight variations in a variety of both conventional and unusual shapes.

Enlightened

Originating in France, the company became famous for their signature decorative ‘flame’ candle lamps, a design which has lasted through the 1900s to the present day. They went on to lead the market in decorative bulbs by developing the first LED ‘flame’ candle between 2005 and 2011 and then marketing the first LED filament bulb in 2014. Continuing to invent and reinvent their products, their unique and stylish bulbs are reflective of their creative values and innovation. Their conscience towards the environment also caught our eye at Balcan Lighting, as they push the boundaries in creating a collection of original and sustainable light sources with low energy consumption.

Ever the motivated crowd, Girard Sudron’s playfulness comes out in their elegant designs with their unusually shaped statement pieces, such as the delightful ‘Happy’ range, the luminescent ‘Cosmos’, and their festoon range ‘Paris Guinguette’, breathing life into their Parisian heritage. As desirable for the modern market as they were for their vintage revival décor, the team show their singularity and superior quality through their ambitious and ever-increasing collection of elegant lighting solutions.
